Thank you for your willingness to contribute your thoughts and feedback! Our hope is to develop a flexible, individualized learning path for each student that will adapt and present a variety of instructional and assessment content along the way. The following is a set of potentially new instructional content that will appear in a student’s individualized learning path. Below you will see five different formats of instructional content:
Short-Form Videos
Short-form videos are a type of content intended to quickly review a topic with less depth than a long-form video.
Memorable Images
Memorable images help with the encoding process and allow content to be more easily recalled at a later time.
Definition Cards
Definition cards provide a simple reminder within a student’s learning path as to the definition of a specific grammar concept.
Why It’s Important
Helping students understand the reason behind a particular grammar concept helps students apply it in their writing.
Music/Videos
Music videos and grammar songs provide an additional format for encoding information regarding grammar concepts.
Please view or sample each type of learning content below and then share your feedback afterwards.
Format: Short-Form Videos
Format: Memorable Images
Format: Definition Cards
Format: When/Why It’s Important
Format: Music/Videos
Now, we’d like to know which of these formats you feel would be valuable to students. Keep in mind that a student would see a variety of formats within their individualized learning path and not just one format in isolation. We’d like to know if there are any types of learning content that you feel would not be helpful or would not resonate with students.
